The Tourist in Me

Jessie jots...

This post is all about pure randomness, as per the pictures. Hushby calls my cell every morning, and every day I'm at somewhere new. I'd say, "Oh, I'm at Genting Highlands" or "Malacca" and "I'm at the Curve" or "Just got up to Maxwell Hill". Isn't it crazy just thinking about it? I would not have thought my vacation would go this far to the extend of visiting so many places at one go in 2.5 weeks! Yikes!

So feast your eyes on what has happened and how YOU yourself could have spent your vacation here in Malaysia. I'm not a big fan of touristy places 'coz I want it so badly to be a traveller, however, it has been so much fun being with the Chiangs, I forgot it was touristy. LOL

In front of the Sunken Bar, having some water fun in Bayview Hotel, Batu Ferringhi, Penang

Dan's treat! Having seafood in Tambun with Daniel's girlfriend, Yuri and Joey

Being a kid in the teacup ride, having a Karipap (Curry Puff) when every one was going to puke. Genting Highlands, Pahang.

The Eye of Malaysia, a copy version from the London Eye? I suppose. Again, it's touristy but it was so much fun! Malacca.

Getting bored after 5 rounds, then made weird faces with Jin and Siew in the Eye of Malaysia.

Family Fun with the Trishaw Ride (with Mom's Trishaw playing Michael Jackson's Bad song HAHA) in Malacca, by the A' Famosa.

While the night was young, we loitered at Jonker Street, Malacca celebrating Mom's 49th Birthday

Fell sick on the 2nd day at Kuala Lumpur due to the heavy haze. Was feverish, shivering from cold (wearing 3 layers here) and Victor still wanted me to climb the stairs to be at the Look Out Point, Sungai Ulu, Selangor.

But boy!!! Was it worth it?? View KL city, Twin Towers and KL Tower from Sungai Ulu.

In Midvalley Mall, KL at the stunning, new extension called the Garden.

Spent the afternoon, having lunch, taking in fresh air at Maxwell Hill taking pictures of Taiping bird's eye view

Eating durian from sweet to bitter, and yellow to red in Balik Pulau, Penang

Visiting the St. Anne Church, built since the late 1800s in Bukit Mertajam, just two days prior to the St. Anne Feast festival

I broke my own record surviving in a suitcase for more than 2 weeks! No wonder I'm sleepy now.

Come tomorrow, I have one week left in Malaysia. And once I step into Penang International Airport, I will be officially done with vacation and all things decadent and indulging. I will be spending 20 plus hours on air reminiscing and quietly sobbing away all the super great times I had in Malaysia.

I........... am............. leaving!

UUuuuWAHHHHHH

Sob sob - Don't feel bad for me, but if you ever, bless your heart. I have and I ADMIT, indulged too much in these 2 months of vacationing. My time here has been well spent and it has well exceeded my expectation and my satisfaction level. So much so, I've gotten so lazy that my fats is oozing out of my pores, because my folks have spoiled me rotten. It has been an awesome experience though been treated this way but I can't live like this forever. I'm a friggin adult, GOSH I'm already over a quarter of my lifetime! It is time to work, slave my big fat arse out and go back studying where Laguna College of Arts and Design is waiting for my attendance.

So long, farewell... I need to say goodbye.
