And very happy now! Ah... it's like killing a craving with a big piece of chocolate cake!
Having arrived at 9am, we covered so many of the major rides, so much so that we have so much time on hand to explore the smaller rides that we've never seen or took before. Thanks to my two Californian fanatic Disney friends who brought me there before. They taught me how to tackle the park in the most efficient way by taking the big rides first and which ride first. So I show Yew Wai what I have learned. lol
We chose the Space Mountain as our first ride. Even being there early in the morning, we were in line for 20 minutes... well, it is consider a short time in Disneyland. I think it is officially one of my most favorite ride but Hushby, being his first time wasn't too keen on it. He got a lil seasick but after some fresh air, he was fine. LOL I agree, the ride can be a lil' disorientating.
After I took a picture of our ride's snapshot, we exited the ride's station and realized the station is number 77 too! Crazeeee
To cut the long story short and as you have expected, we checked in at the New Orleans style restaurant, Blue Bayou later in the evening. There was a long line waiting but we were seated immediately, thanks to reservation! And these are our views... too cool to be true!
Taken from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride earlier in the day.
Once seated, we got the menu and I really couldn't decide what to have for dinner. Hushby knew instantly, Seafood Jambalaya it is! My waiter suggest I try the Salmon... and I gotta say, he did not make the wrong choice for me! I've never tasted cooked Salmon sooo moist!
For him, Gumbo as starter and Seafood Jambalaya with an assortment of Gulf Shrimp, Mahi-Mahi and Andouille Sausage as the main course.
For her, fresh sherry vinaigrette Salad with Walnut and Dried Cranberries as the starter and Blackened Salmon with Baked Cheese Potato and Veggies as the main course.
For dessert, the couple shared a scrumptious Creme Brulee!
We were there for more than 12 hours and our feet were practically on its way to break down with acid and melt. It was fun nevertheless, so much fun that I think I have enough and I am ready to work again... on the house that is. LOL
And as promised from the previous post, I'm going to show you what I got for Yew Wai for the anniversary. Honestly, I did not expect him to get emotional but when he opened the box, he got all misty eye. I guess I made the right choice :~)
