FOCUS Jessie, Focus!

Jessie jots...

Gong Xi Fa Cai to all of you and Happy Valentine's Day to you too.

To you all Hokkien Lang, Kiong Hee Huat Chai.

We didn't celebrate Chinese New Year this time round. Both of us fell sick, Hushby first and then me. However, we did something really special... which is, by going to our NEEEWWW house and spend an hour there, measuring. Haha! We're so dorky, that's all we enjoy doing.

We haven't get the keys, which explains why we don't have any access into the house yet. Every time we needed to visit, we had to make an appointment with our real estate agent. And with the three times we are there, we're like kids in a candy store. There's so much procedures to bank and name transferring but hopefully, it will all go well and we should be able to move in by March or latest April.

We are still so aesthetic about the new property. It is what we've always hope for and dream for and I have so many ideas to turn this whole house around and make it my own, my taste. It has been two weeks already and I am still in daze and still happy about how we got the house. It really is a miracle! Look at this, number 77 was only on the market for 3 days and this is how many people had visited.

Move aside people! It's ALL MINE! ALL MINE NOW! BUAAAAHAAHAHAHA

There were roughly about 15 cards in total. Every real estate agent who came for showing is oblige to leave their name card to acknowledge the seller of their interest.

We were the first visitor, believe it or not and we got the house in 3 days!

I cannot concentrate in class. I told Jane, I'm still in a celebratory mood. I want to spend my days working on projects like choosing tiles, hardwood floors, curtains, paint colors, putting up light fixtures and sprucing up the garden. I am in absolute pain having to wait for the right time and switching my focus to graphic design instead.

That's why I have to let it out. I simply cannot forget. Day after day, I dream and look at the pictures, especially this one in particular and you must be thinking I'm nuts for dreaming about a toilet. A TOILET... what so significant about it? When this was taken, it was raining... so you can't really tell how much sunlight actually go through this window. When we went there yesterday, it was sunny and windy and peaceful... it's located in the master bedroom bath, in a small room on its own, located upstairs overlooking other houses that are on the slope. And if you look a bit further than that, there's the valley with trees and bushes. It was like the most beautiful spot to take a dump, ethereally. At this spot, you will not constipate.

This toilet is my A-ha moment - it was a sign that said "GET ME NOW". Now that I already did, I'm seeing something else - wallpaper in green and white tone, small pot of a hardy plant, folding curtains, marble or natural stone tiles... ah! It will be ethereal.
