Be an optimist

Jessie jots...

Chinese New Year mood is in the air. For the 7th year now, I have not celebrate the new year with my family. I hope this year will be the last that this will happen. Traditionally, when Chinese New Year is around the corner, predictions of the new year from Feng Shui Master or Fortune Tellers pops up from forwarded emails and in newspaper.

One I read in particular caught my interest. The feng shui master said that if good things happen to you today, you can rest assure that your life is good and easy for the rest of 2010. If you're sick or something bad happen to you, then be prepare for more hardship.

If you want a good day to happen to you, just force yourself to go to work or do something if you stay home. That way, you have a lot of things to do in 2010.

They also advise to wear red for good luck and wear a real gold pendant on your neck to ensure smooth sailing year ahead.

Interesting right? I don't know if I believe it but I'm going to be an optimistic person and say, I like positive things to happen to me every single day, not just on the 4th. haha!

Hope all will go smooth for every one of you.

Although the lunar calendar indicate Chinese New Year falls on Valentine's Day, I'm going to take this opportunity ahead of time to wish everyone...

Gong Xi Fa Cai!

Happy Chinese New Year! Wishing you happy many returns in all your undertakings in 2010! Take more chinese cookies and eat them behalf of me! :)
